25th Annual Pittsburg Seafood Festival Silver Celebration 25th Silver Celebration event that will showcase our City as a good place to live, work and do business. In these times of restructuring and downsizing, the festival is no exception. We have instituted several changes that will focus on presenting an intimate family event to be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 12th & 13th 2009 located at the Pittsburg Marina. This year we would like to continue to present the California Zinfandel Championship & Dinner, held the Friday night before the festival, September 11th 2009, which has become Pittsburg’s premier event and is sold out every year. Sponsorship for the event is the only way the Chamber can produce this outstanding event. Through proceeds earned from the festival and your assistance through sponsorship, the Pittsburg Chamber receives a good portion of its yearly operating budget. Without the festival’s income the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce would not be able to serve the business community at the same levels as in past years. In addition, parts of the festival proceeds go to each of the 40 non-profit organizations who work the event and have earned over $350,000 in recent years. For some of them it is their major source of income. Supporting the Pittsburg Seafood Festival helps everyone. Please consider sponsoring the 25th Silver Celebration Pittsburg Seafood Festival and California Zinfandel Championship & Dinner which continues to be the largest event in Contra Costa County. Please review our sponsorship levels and help to promote Pittsburg to everyone in our region.Sponsorship Booths will receive a 10X10 space along our event entrance. In an effort to curb costs for our 2009 Festival, no booth, table or chairs will be available. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please contact me if you have any questions or if there is anything that the Chamber staff can do for your business. Sincerely, Mary Coniglio Executive Vice President/CEO
